1. Overview
This Cancellation Policy explains how brands and creators can cancel subscriptions and campaigns on Afflunce (“Platform”, “we”, “us”). It applies to all paid plans, campaign engagements, and escrow-funded collaborations facilitated through Afflunce. By using the Platform you agree to the terms below, which work alongside our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
Cancellation refers to terminating an ongoing service or commitment. Whether and how much you are refunded after a cancellation is governed separately by our Refund Policy.
2. Subscription Cancellation
Afflunce subscriptions (Starter, Growth, and Scale) renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled. You may cancel a subscription at any time from Settings → Billing → Manage Plan.
- Effective date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your plan, seats, and features remain active until then.
- Monthly plans. Cancel any time before the next renewal date to avoid being charged for the following month.
- Annual plans. Cancellation stops auto-renewal for the next year. Annual fees already paid are non-refundable except as described in the Refund Policy.
- Downgrades. Reducing seats or moving to a lower tier is treated as a partial cancellation and applies from the next cycle.
After a subscription ends, your workspace moves to a read-only state. Campaign and analytics data are retained for 90 days, after which they may be permanently deleted.
3. Campaign Cancellation by Brands
A brand may cancel a campaign it has created, subject to the stage the campaign has reached:
- Before a creator accepts. The campaign can be cancelled instantly at no cost, and any escrowed budget is released back to the brand.
- After acceptance, before content delivery.A minimum of 7 days’ written notice is required. A cancellation fee may apply to compensate creators for work already commissioned, as set out in the campaign agreement.
- After content delivery or go-live. Campaigns that have entered the live or delivered stage cannot be cancelled. Agreed deliverables and payouts remain due.
4. Campaign Cancellation by Creators
Creators may withdraw from a campaign they have accepted, but doing so responsibly protects their reputation and standing on the Platform:
- Notice period.Creators must give at least 7 days’ notice before the agreed content go-live date, except in documented emergencies.
- Released funds. Any escrowed amounts tied to undelivered work are returned to the brand.
- Repeated withdrawals.Frequent late cancellations may affect a creator’s reliability score, visibility in search, and eligibility for premium campaigns.
5. Effect on Active Campaigns & Escrow
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically cancel campaigns that are already live. Active campaigns continue under their existing terms, and escrowed funds remain held until the campaign is completed, cancelled, or resolved through our dispute process.
- Funds held in escrow for completed deliverables are released to the creator per the campaign milestones.
- Funds tied to incomplete deliverables follow the cancellation rules in Sections 3 and 4.
- Disputes over what is owed after cancellation are handled under our Refund Policy and dispute-resolution process.
6. How to Cancel & Contact
